Stand-Up Pouch
The most popular treat bag: stands on the shelf, reseals, and shows off your front panel.
Best for
What makes it a stand-up pouch
- A folded gusset in the bottom opens when the pouch is filled, so it stands on its own
- Front and back panels sealed along both sides
- A zipper and tear notches near the top for opening and resealing
Good to know: Stands best at smaller and mid sizes. For heavier kibble bags, a flat bottom or quad seal bag is more stable.
Standard sizes
Fill weights are guides. Custom sizes are available.

Flat Bottom Bag
A box-shaped bag with a flat base for a premium, stable shelf presence.
Best for
What makes it a flat bottom bag
- A flat rectangular base, so the bag stands like a box
- Side gussets that add two more printable panels
- Five print surfaces: front, back, both sides, and the bottom
Good to know: The most shelf-stable standing bag and the most room for branding and feeding information.
Standard sizes
Fill weights are guides. Custom sizes are available.

Side Gusset Bag
The classic tall bag that expands at the sides to hold large fills efficiently.
Best for
What makes it a side gusset bag
- Gussets folded into both sides expand as the bag fills
- Sealed across the bottom and top, with a seal down the back
- Top can be folded, closed with a tin tie, or fitted with a zipper
Good to know: Holds a lot of product for the material used, which suits bigger fills.
Standard sizes
Fill weights are guides. Custom sizes are available.

Quad Seal Bag
A side gusset bag with all four corners sealed for a crisp, sturdy shape.
Best for
What makes it a quad seal bag
- All four vertical corners are sealed, giving sharp, defined edges
- A squared base that keeps heavy bags upright
- Print on every side of the bag
Good to know: The strongest, most structured option for heavy fills, and it holds its shape on the shelf.
Standard sizes
Fill weights are guides. Custom sizes are available.

Lay-Flat Pouch
A simple flat pouch for samples, single servings, and portion packs.
Best for
What makes it a lay-flat pouch
- Two panels sealed on two or three sides
- No gusset, so it lies flat
- Can add a zipper, tear notch, or hang hole
Good to know: Uses the least material and hangs well on pegs, but does not stand on a shelf.

Spout Pouch
A standing pouch with a sealed-in spout and cap for pourable products.
Best for
What makes it a spout pouch
- A spout and screw cap sealed into the top or corner
- Pours cleanly and recloses
- Stands on a bottom gusset like a stand-up pouch
Good to know: The right choice when your product pours instead of scoops.

Custom Shaped Pouch
A pouch die-cut into a shape like a bone, paw, or fish.
Best for
What makes it a custom shaped pouch
- Cut to a custom outline after sealing
- The seal follows the shape of the outline
- Available with zippers, windows, and hang holes
Good to know: Built for shelf impact. The shape limits how much fits inside, so it suits smaller fills.

Child-Resistant Bag
A pouch with a locking zipper that takes two steps to open.
Best for
What makes it a child-resistant bag
- A child-resistant zipper that needs a deliberate two-step action to open
- Available as a stand-up or lay-flat pouch
- Reseals like a standard zipper
Good to know: Choose this when your product requires a child-resistant closure.

Roll Stock Film
Printed film on a roll that your own packaging machine forms, fills, and seals.
Best for
What makes it a roll stock film
- Printed, laminated film supplied on a roll
- Formed, filled, and sealed on your form-fill-seal line
- Print repeats are registered to your machine
Good to know: Requires packaging equipment. For brands that have it, roll stock is usually the most economical format at volume.
